Volcanos

Roundup of Global Volcanic Activity

Kilauea (Hawai'i): The eruption continues with no significant changes: lava continues to flow into the ocean at Kamokuna and several breakouts are active along the lava tube both on the pali and in the coastal flat, at about 2 km distance from the coast. At Kilauea's summit, the lava lake in Halema'uma'u crater remains active, but has dropped to 19 m (~62 ft) below the crater floor this morning, as the volcano has begun a deflation cycle.
