Wildfires continue burning in Idaho, Wyoming - USA

The Black Fire, located northwest of Swan Valley, is 770 acres in size, and smoke can be seen from Highway 26 and the communities of Tetonia, Driggs and Victor.

The Carrot Fire, located in the Jedediah Smith Wilderness northeast of Tetonia, is 606 acres in size, while the Lanes Creek Fire, southwest of Freedom, Wyo., is 295 acres.

The Tie Fire, located southwest of Victor, showed some increase in activity on Sunday, but it is still listed at 1,031 acres in size.

Officials say the Tincup Mountain Fire burning northwest of Freedom, Wyo., on the Soda Springs Ranger District showed the most activity over the weekend.Driven by warm temperatures, low humidity and strong winds, that lightning-caused fire is now estimated to be 773 acres in size, officials said, adding that it’s visible from Highway 34.

The lightning-caused Berry Fire, which started within the Grand Teton National Park and spread to the Bridger-Teton National Forest, is now listed at 20,801 acres.
