Wildfires - California

Firefighters contained 10 percent of the wildfire that exploded in the Inyo National Forest over the weekend, burning 4,500 acres as of Sunday in Mono County, according to the U.S. Forest Service.

Two large fires were burning in close proximity Saturday near the Soup Springs Campground, about 12 miles east of Likely, in the Modoc National Forest.
