Monkeypox

Brazil – According to the Brazil Ministry of Health on June 4, six suspected monkeypox cases have been reported in the country.

USA – The San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH) announced Friday that the first probable case of monkeypox has been identified in an SF resident.

Measles 

Yemen – According to the Yemeni Ministry of Public Health and Population (MOPHP), during the past 5 months of this year, the number of measles infected people in areas controlled by the Yemeni government reached 2,924 cases, including 34 deaths, excluding the governorates under the control of the Houthis faction.

South Africa – The National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) in South Africa report over the last two weeks of May 2022, four laboratory-confirmed cases of measles from persons resident in Gauteng.

Cholera – DR Congo

In South Kivu, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), officials announced an increase in cholera cases in the health zone of Kalehe. At epidemiological week 22, 107 cases including 5 deaths have been reported.
